How to Make Alcohol in Infinite Craft

Combine Fire + Wine to make Alcohol. From the starting elements, the Plant route below takes four combinations. If you already have Glass, the alternative route needs just two more combinations.

Complete recipe tree
Water + Earth → Plant
Plant + Wind → Dandelion
Dandelion + Water → Wine
Wine + Fire → Alcohol
  1. Water + Earth = Plant
  2. Plant + Wind = Dandelion
  3. Dandelion + Water = Wine
  4. Wine + Fire = Alcohol

The counts here compare these two complete routes, not every possible recipe in the game. Neither route needs an ingredient outside the steps shown.

Alternative: make Wine through Glass

  1. Wind + Earth = Dust
  2. Dust + Dust = Sand
  3. Sand + Fire = Glass
  4. Glass + Water = Wine
  5. Wine + Fire = Alcohol

This route takes five combinations from the starting elements. It joins the Plant route at Wine, so you only need one of the two branches.

Which route is shorter for your inventory?

The four-combination route wins from a fresh inventory, but an existing intermediate can reverse that choice. Count the missing outputs, rather than the full printed list. In the comparison below, each row starts with the basic elements and exactly the extra items named.

Dust alone produces a tie: you still need Sand, Glass, Wine and Alcohol. Sand already unlocked removes the first two outputs of the five-combination branch, leaving three. That is why a longer starting recipe can become the shorter continuation.

Having Plant and Sand gives another tie, with three combinations left on either branch. Do not make both Dandelion and Glass just because both ingredients are available: each leads to the same Wine stage. Choose one continuation and stop when Alcohol appears.

Already have Glass? Start at Wine

Use Glass + Water = Wine, then Wine + Fire = Alcohol. Rebuilding Dust and Sand adds work without changing the two missing outputs. Likewise, Dandelion already available means Water to reach Wine, then Fire to reach Alcohol. These are inventory shortcuts, not shorter complete recipes from an empty inventory.

Why does a longer recipe keep going after Alcohol?

Alcohol can be an intermediate rather than a tutorial's final target. A list that continues with Wine, Drunk or later outputs has moved beyond the ingredient you came for. For this task, the stopping point is Wine + Fire = Alcohol; extra combinations after that do not belong in your Alcohol step count.

Earth + Water or Earth + Wind?

They start different branches. Earth + Water supplies Plant, while Earth + Wind supplies Dust. If you are following the four-combination list, use Water first. If you already have Dust or Sand, follow the Glass branch instead. Do not replace one input with the other halfway through a numbered route.
