Combine Alien + Universe to make God. The complete route below takes eight combinations from the starting elements. Build Lake and the Steam–Engine–Rocket chain, then use Space for both final branches.

Steam has already appeared earlier with Fire to make Engine. Do not replace it with Engine at the Universe checkpoint: the listed pair is Space + Steam. Rocket also appears twice, first with Lake for Space and then with Space for Alien. Those repeated names connect the branches; they are not instructions to invent a second preparation chain.
Space, Universe and God can share an icon
The 🌌 icon can label Space, Universe and God. Read the name beside it. At the final combination, the required cosmic ingredient is Universe, alongside Alien. Space is the earlier branching point; God is the result you are trying to reach.
The same name check matters for Rocket and Space Ship, which can both use 🚀. The eight-combination route uses Rocket + Space for Alien. Space Ship belongs to the alternative below, where it is paired with Earth. Treating those two names as interchangeable would change a specified input.

This route takes nine combinations from the starting elements. It changes how Alien is prepared while keeping the Space + Steam branch for Universe.

Why the Space Ship route adds one combination
Both routes share Lake, Steam, Engine, Rocket, Space and Universe. In the first, Alien needs one combination: Rocket + Space. In the alternative, Alien needs two: Engine + Rocket makes Space Ship, then Earth + Space Ship makes Alien. Replacing one equation with two changes the total from eight to nine.
The shorter route above uses only Water and Fire as starting inputs. The alternative also uses Earth. Wind is not needed in either complete sequence. That is a comparison of these two written routes, not a claim about every possible way to make God.
